What Plastic Surgery Doctors Don't Want You To Know About Copper Peptide Cream
Does the best wrinkle cream really work? Can you fix or repair wrinkled skin without surgery by using only natural wrinkle remedies? We say fix a wrinkle instead of remove a wrinkle, because wrinkles are really just damaged skin due to lack of collagen production. What are copper peptides made of? A copper peptide is really two components, peptides, which are fragments of protein, and copper atoms. When these two bind, they form copper peptides. Copper peptides and their ability to help rejuvenate the skin were first discovered by Dr. Pickart in the mid 70s. In fact, he later found and patented a special form of copper peptide that was especially beneficial for skin remodeling called GHK-Cu. One of the best benefits of copper peptide GHK-CU was its ability to help repair damaged skin including: reduce scars, stretch marks, and wrinkles. The best part is copper peptide skin care products really work and there are several clinical studies to support this fact. There are studies on real humans who actually have seen skin rejuvenation within a matter of a few months. One small study tested three different creams, vitamin C, Retin-A, and copper peptide cream on 20 female volunteers. After one month those treated with Retin-A only saw a 40% increase in collagen and the vitamin C group saw a 50% increase. However, those treated with the copper peptide cream saw an impressive 70% increase in collagen production. The most impressive study published in the American Academy of Dermatology 2002 found that copper peptide skin care products containing GHK-Cu reduced fine lines, wrinkles, increased skin elasticity, density and skin thickness in just 12 weeks. There are plenty more studies and clinical trials proving the beneficial effects of copper peptide creams with GHK-Cu on aging skin. And while some say it takes longer than plastic surgery or chemical peels, its also much cheaper and safer.
